Hmm... Idk, anything metal?...

I don't really like it but you could check the Metal Zone MT-2... Or something like that...

Otherwise you could search what use Synyster? (The guitarist of A7X)

Live: Marshall JCM 2000 DSL.

Studio: Bogner Uberschall.

MT-2 is not going to get you ANYWHERE near close to either of those tones.

No effects pedal will make you sound like them.
Whatever amp they use will make you sound like them (Bogner or Marshall.)

I guess get like a Hardwire Metal Distortion pedal or something if you really don't want to save up for a new amp.
Don't buy Boss distortion pedals, they're crap (unmodded.)

Actually, if you're amp is somewhat high gain, you should get a compressor. I actually watched an interview with Syn and he said that they both use a compressor as their secret tone weapon. BTW don't get a Boss one. Line 6 actually makes a compressor that definitely helps to get your tone close to the A7X tone. However, the name escapes me.....

A compressor doesn't change tone though.

This is about as close as you will get with a pedal.

People would leave guitars for me in a box on the doorstep with a note "Please look after little Johnie, we just cant cope anymore, all he wants to do is hook up with Marshalls, We thought he would be a fender boy.

Krank Distortus Maximus, or whatever it is called. I was amazed at how close this pedal sounds to Syn's guitar tone, and he actually uses one.
