Be aware that the interface is firewire and you'd need a firewire chipset in your pc to support it, not usb.

Also be aware that the interface has no instrument level in, so you couldnt use amp simulators with it. You'd be stuck with recording your amp with a microphone thats more suited to vocal application.

oh ok, thats definitely a little inconvienient for me. Thanks for the heads up. So i should go with a usb and not firewire then. And ok, so maybe this package isnt what i want to go with

That's not suitable for guitar DI's, only keyboards outputs and the like.
