I just recieved a POD X3 for christmas, and it was sounding great through recordings with patches I'd found throguh line6 and sevenstring.org.

Until now

I just recieved a pair of Pioneer HDJ-1000 to listen to it with. I was using a Big Bottom+Boost EQ+Small Room i believe (Bulb Patch)

When I plugged in the phones, the sound is not full, it had little/no distortion, and after I unplugged and repatched it to be sure, I rerecorded a clip; and the sound was the same, crappy.

I'm not sure what signal path or output i screwed up, but someone please help so i can listen through headphones AND record without screwing my pod up.

i've always found pop to be harder to play than metal... especially shred metal... it's just really fast tremolo picking and the occasional palm mute... and the only chords you have to worry about are power chords...
