Hello peoplez,
I was listening to a burnin' solo the other day, and i was really wondering.
What is my favorite solo ever made?

I sat and listened for hours to some of my favorite songs, and i settled that Bullet for my Valentine - Waking the demon is my favorite solo.

so, What is your favorite guitar solo ever?

Double Guitar Solo - MAB
Its hard to play, and always gives me a challenge. Best solo EVER (Not instrumental piece, for that Id have to say Jason Beckers Perpetual Burn)

World divides or I, Deceiver by The Absence.

Winter madness or Death and Healing by Wintersun.

Those and about a million other solo's. Don't feel like listing any more.

Come to think of it, my penis should've listened to more death metal.

So my question is. Can Pre-Cum fluid pass through my underwear, my jeans, onto and through her jeans, through her underwear, and impregnate her?

I don't pay attention to solos anymore.

They're nice when they're there, but I'm not like, "OMGZ, TAHT SOLO WAS AMAZINGGGGG!!!!"

So, in short, I'm indifferent on the matter. If they help the song, then fine, but most just sound out of place. I don't like the idea of them anymore.

Nah, I haven't really cared for them in a while, actually.

I mean, I listen to more than just post rock/post metal.

I just don't think as highly of them anymore. I know it's part of the name "solo", but they're too egotistical. If it's for nothing more than to show what you can do, then I'm entirely uninterested. I'm not listening to music to hear you show off, I'm listening to music to enjoy the song as a whole.

If the solo brings something to the song, and isn't just a masturbation session, then I'll enjoy it.

Stairway to Heaven...can still send shivers down my spine even after hearing it a million times...that's what makes a great solo..not how many notes can be shoved into 15 seconds of a song
Like David Gilmour?

Hendrix's lead in his rendition of "All Along the Watchtower." I don't think anything else's topped that for me yet.

Black Sabbath/Black Sabbath/Black Sabbath. It's the perfect finish to the energy that's been building up through the song.

This!!!!!!!!! I have it as my ringtone, the solo that is.
But think in my opinion that Crazy Train tops it slightly. So much awesomeness and technique in 30 sec time period plus it has SOOOO much emotion in it. There's 2 section in the solo that ALWAYS and never fails to send massive chills down my spine

everything Alex Skolnick has ever played. he is probably the only guitar that still gives me wood when i hear his lead playing. my favourite is probably apocalyptic city

For the Love of God (the whole song)

Something about that song that's just incredible although its mostly pentatonics. Pretty much changed the way I looked at pentatonics as something that every rock/blues player and their mother can just pull off.

If that doesn't count, then i'd have to go with Tornado of Souls. Apparently it was improvised in ONE take.

let's just go with any Levasseur solo. Seriously though, I can't decide if my favorite is Phobophile or Open Face Surgery. or Benedictine Convulsions. Aaah they're all so good.
