So I just took apart my strat to put in my new dimarzio, and I took off the neck so I could see the manufacture date stamped on the back, and over top of the date there is this crazy looking face drawn with like a chalk pencil or crayon cant really tell. Just wondering if anyone else has somethin like this on the back ofthere neck, probably a signature from someone who works at the factory, or just got really really bored.

Pics?

I've never heard of that on the newer Strats; mine just has the date of manufacture on it. Back in the '50's though, workers would write obscenities in the neck pocket since the guitars were dated by pencil. Once the Fender execs caught wind of this, they went to stamping the pocket and neck.
