Idk if this has been done before, but who is your hero, and why?
I'll show you my dark secret!
#3
My hero is TS for not giving an example first. Which in turn has revolutionized thread making for future generations to come.
#5
It has been.

Devin Townsend and Stephen Fry. I'm a big fan of the former's music, and of the latter's comedy/writing, and I love their attitudes to things and outlooks on life.

So your hero is an uncreative druggie who shot himself?

Way to aim high.

Musically, Eric Johnson, or Buckethead for versatility/prolificness (is that a word?) As far as life-in-general heroes, I dunno, don't really have any.

First of all, if you're going to make threads like this, you may as well take a note from your hero.

Plus if that line is from the song I think it is, it's not about Kurt, and people thinking that gets old.

Adolf Hitler. He had the guts to take charge and do what he believed in...no matter the consequences. I don't endorse what he did, but I give him points for his perseverance and hard work ethic.

Freddie Mercury. Great songwriter, amazing vocal range, and a skilled pianist.

Steve Irwin and Mike Rowe

Steve because I love animals and he always showed such enthusiasm for preservation. To clarify, I mean Mike Rowe and everyone who has been featured on Dirty Jobs. Those are some good, dedicated people who really enjoy their craft. Quite a humbling show.

Bill Hicks is probably the person I idolize the most at this point in my life. I relate to him quite strongly.

Quote by Wikipedia
William Melvin "Bill" Hicks (December 16, 1961 – February 26, 1994) was a seminal American stand-up comedian and social critic. His humor challenged mainstream beliefs, aiming to "enlighten people to think for themselves." Hicks used a ribald approach to express his material, describing himself as "Chomsky with dick jokes." His jokes included general discussions about society, religion, politics, philosophy and personal issues. Hicks' material was often deliberately controversial and steeped in dark comedy. In both his stand-up performances, and during interviews, he often criticized consumerism, superficiality, mediocrity and banality within the media and popular culture, describing them as oppressive tools of the ruling class, meant to "keep people stupid and apathetic."
