i play mainly heavy alternative stuff, such as bullet for my valentine, linkin park, korn etc.
what do you think is the neck pickup:
dimarzio d-activator x
dimarzio air norton
dimarzio evolution

and bridge pickup:
dimarzio d activator x
dimarzio tone zone
dimarzio d sonic

i dont like seymour's cuz they seem to sound way too... not "muddy" but kinda dark... sorry for the misunderstanding and emgs are... i just dont like it lol. i hate the fact i have to replace batteries.

i own a basswood ibanez rg570, please let me know.
thanks.

If you think Seymour Duncans are all muddy then you're playing them in muddy guitars.

What about an X2N in the bridge?
If you don't know me then your life sucks

I recently put an X2N and D-Activator (neck) on one of my guitars. sounds killer.

except with that guitar, I've been having a hard time EQin' it. so bassy, and it's mohagony.

but I have another guitar that's Alder with the X2N on it, and that X2N will punch you IN THE FACE.

isnt the X2N and the D activator X almost the same thing?

The site says the D-activator X is a toned down version of the X2N, mainly in the highs.

i've narrowed it down to:
a pair of d activator x's
or air norton neck and evolution bridge

now which one do you think is better for me?
