I have a rg with inf3-inf4 pickups stock ones and just bought some rg1570 ibanez pups all three for 60 bucks. They are the v8 v7 and s1 i think.

Is that a decent upgrade for the money or should i have not done that.

I like the 1570 i played but i read the pickups suck after i bought them lol.

Am i wasting time and money ?

dimarzios for all 3 would have been 200.

I'm not sure if its much of an upgrade... pretty much all of Ibanez's stock pickup are muddy and lack definition, which makes them terrible pickups in my opinion.

it's so cool to hate Gibson, even the federal Department of Justice hates them.

If you like the 1570, why worry about what other reviews have to say about them?

All that mattters is that you like them.

Right on man, I only paid 60 bucks if i take them out and sell them for for 30-40 i can live with 30 bones to try some pups and maybe ill just build a project rg down the road.

Ibanez's pups in the early 80s where different. Not GOOD, but not like they are now.
