can i use this:
visual sound multi-plug
http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/Visual-Sound-MultiPlug-5-Cable-for-1-SPOT-Adapter?sku=151687

with this:
boss psa adaptor
http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/Boss-PSA120S-ADAPTER?sku=155555

the reason i ask is because i already have the boss adaptor, and i would like to daisy chain power to a couple pedals. im building my board in a couple days. also, i have a 25 dollar gift certificate from musiciansfriend, so im trying to conserve money.

thanks for the help.

You should be able to, you'd just be able to power less pedals since the BOSS adaptor is only rated for 500ma while the One Spot is 1000ma.

It depends on the pedals. What do you have? We'd have to look up manufacturer specs and see how much current each one uses.

If you're talking about analog pedals, there's a good chance you can power more than 5 of them, but realistically, we'll need to know the current draw of the pedals you intend to power with that power source.

it's so cool to hate Gibson, even the federal Department of Justice hates them.

I'll type it up as I go along to make sure I don't get lost.

TS9/clones- ~7-8ma
Crybaby- .43 or 43ma, the site is unclear as it says 0,43
Cool Cat- ~6.5ma
Octafuzz- He used to have it on the site, I remember it being pretty low, less than 20ma I'm sure
Soulvibe- I'm not sure but you've got a lot to spare at this point.

Yea, you should be good.

i went ahead and got the visual sound one spot combo pack so that i have plenty of room to grow. also i decided to by one of the last V1 transparent ODs for the fun of it. it will get some studio work im sure. probably wont make it to the board. (or it will kick something else off.)
