Hey guys! I'm looking to an amp to play mostly RHCP (John Frusciante), and a friend of mine tell me a business where I can buy a Roland BC-30 (with a celestion vintage 30) by 200€. He told me that is a great SS amp that compete with many tube amps. What do you say? It woth it?
Cheers and thanks!

Never heard of it, but if it is a vintage amp in good condition, than 200 Euro's seems like a pretty good price. However, if you get a chance to play it before buying it, DO IT. "A business" seems like a shady term. Make sure it's trustworthy.
R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio. Supplied amazing music to both me and my mother.

He will be missed.

The Cube 30 only really suits metal, you can drown it in effects but it's pretty mediocre on all fronts.

I prefer barbed wire strings. I find I can get the most br00t41 tonez with it.

I has the amp, and to be honest, it sucks like hell man.. cheap ass cold tones.. the best tone you get out of it is when you crank the gain , high and lows max'd and no mids the cleans are even worse (since you want to play RHCP, i guess you'll need them =P) i'm not a big fan tbh..

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Vox-AC4TV8-4W-1x8-Guitar-Combo-Amp?sku=620651 = RHCP tones. A strat helps too.

EDIT: Just realised you're not in the US. Try this: http://www.thomann.de/gb/vox_ac4tv.htm 22 euros over budget but it's better than the one I posted up there^.
