I found a Marshall AVT150H Head with a B52 LG-412S cab for USD 650.

The seller said he would be willing to separate the two.

1. Good deal?
2. Thoughts on the head?
3. Thoughts on the cab?

I play clean and distorted rhythms and leads for a modern rock band and thrash/neoclassical leads and rhythm for fun, so versatility is a must. The guitar I will be playing through it is a BC Rich Warlock with EMG 81/85 pups.

Ok lol, well I'm still looking around.

How does an original Peavey 5150 with a 4x12 peavey cab for USD 900 sound?

Probably a bit on the expensive side of things. Great amp though. Cab is pretty mediocre. If you intend to swap out for V30's then it would be quite passable.

Good amp, that seems a little high though.
