Haha sweet just had our first gig and it went great we played much better then I thought and we even dedicated our set to the Rev. We let our drummer go crazy on an improvisational solo and we kinda followed along and it got pretty emotional. What were your first gigs like? Did you guys ever get lucky and have someone die the day before or of your gig and get to promote yourselves with it? We dedicated Wish you were here to the Rev and all the other dead rockers for our encore. Sweet huh?

You should become a businessman and work for record companies.

I dunno man I think a syncronised jump is a great idea and a good piece of showmanship- I'll mention it to the guys and we might have to pull that one out next gig.

+1

Anyway, I played for my first time in front of a real audience (600 or so) for a school talent show. We dedicated one song to our 3rd period spare group, all of whom are still alive.

Why would be sarcastical? I don't understand this place so I'll just stop posting into this flurry of negativity and immature behaviors.

Exactly. TS doesn't seem to get it.

Anyway, my first gigs was pretty average. It wasn't even really a gig, just a small house party. I dropped my pick a few times. That was pretty bad.

I never said Adolf Hitler was my hero for what he did just his strong work ethic and perservance at his beliefs. I should have expected this just a big gang of jerks and tough guys..only a couple people are treting me like a human being.
