Basically I'v been looking for ways to achieve bass drops at the start of a breakdown. In my opinion it sounds ****ing epic if it isn't overused.

My friend is in a band and he uses a boss Loop pedal to acheive those sounds. you might wanna check that out.

Yeah I'm sure thats possible, the singer in my band produces all of our stuff and he downloaded a bass boost wav file and put it in one of our songs just for fun and it sounded good. Our drummer has bought a roland electric kit and we use a bass booster from that in our live shows now
