I have a 1992 Gibson Cherry Les Paul Special, and although the guitar itself is not worth a lot, I like the action and the general look of the guitar. So I decided to sink in a bit of money into making it unique. I replaced all of the frets with new fret bars, and payed $350 in labor to install a $230 sustainiac stealth pro pickup and a $70 EMG 60. Since I've devalued it, my question is...what can I do to make this guitar better/more fun/unique? Any cool ideas would be awesome!

there was a guy who installed a KAOSS pad (sp?) in his les paul for some synthy sounds.
that was pretty cool.

hmm, you could try refinishing it, or something

Turn it into a buckethead les Paul :L or make it look like that ugly (IMO) new version of the robot guitar. Ewwwww...

Awesome idea about the KP, I never knew about them @_@

Are there any other models/brands that are superior? I know radiohead and muse use them atm, but...the reviews are **** as it stands for the pad itself.
