Hello fellow pit monkeys. I was on ym way home from hunting while listening to sirius 20, and they had on the top 20 songs of 2009. However, I think that they made gigantic mistakes, so i would like to hand it over to the pit to make the real list. Vote on your favorite songs of '09 and ill tally em and on january 1st, ill present the list.

Ill vote for Two Weeks- All That Remains

EDIT: Official Votes would be nice, make it clear.

Alexisonfire - The Northern. Their new album was certainly not their best, but nonetheless: The Northern is/was their best song thus far, IHMO.

I can't even decide. =X. There've been quite a few good songs this year... Problem is, I listened to a lot of stuff that wasn't FROM this year.

I won't vote on any of these yet, but here's my possibilities. I'll TRY to keep it to one song per artist.

Say Anything - "Do Better"
Say Anything - "Cemetery"
Third Eye Blind - "Can You Take Me"
Foo Fighters - "Wheels"
Muse - "Uprising"
Owl City - "Fireflies" [Suck it, haters.]
Them Crooked Vultures - "No One Loves Me and Neither Do I"
Green Day - "21st Century Breakdown"
Green Day - "East Jesus Nowhere"

I have to chip in Jizz in My Pants by The Lonely Island too

Something by The Dead Weather...Treat Me Like Your Mother.

And Singapore by Tom Waits from Glitter and Doom Live, if that counts?

WTF? meh = dissappointing

and then

WTF? A Rite Of Passage is obviously just a copy of the Misunderstood riff... and then what is up with the solo section, i.e. the single note riff with the shitty little thing at the end? And then that was total FAIL during Jordan's keyboard solo where he tried making fucked-up noises sound cool like in constant motion, but it sounded like PAC-MAN shitting...
