Ooga booga! Creepy noises! Oh no! It's like Ghost Hunters but in movie form!

that movie wasn't scary in the least bit...most of the movie was watching two people sleep....and then a door closing.

I dunno, I went in with high expectations and I was quite disappointed. Which means a lot because I'm easily scared.

ALTHOUGH, having said that, I was scared that night when I was trying to sleep.

I thought it was pretty awful. Only part that affected me at all was the very end. Most of the time, I was just frustrated with the characters.

These kind of things are real too me, since I've had my own share of paranormal. The man did everything my mother told me not too do if I was ever confronted with a demon. I'm not gonna lie the movie freaked me out a bit. :'(

I feel it would only scare me if my house burned down when I was eight and I was a woman. Luckily I have never had my house burn down and I have a penis.

Is there any reason you just couldn't post without mentioning his join date, or do you not realize how it makes you look?

It's just that I rarely, if ever, agree with 09'ers, and this is a rather rare moment, so it deserves mentioning.

Nah. I'm not gonna spam the thread up fighting him. If he wants to be an idiot, that's his prerogative. He said himself that he doesn't care, so why fan the flames?

OT: Anyone else think it's hilarious how much attention this movie has gotten in the Pit? This has to be like the tenth thread on it at least.

I was pleasantly suprised...It was great, it was scarier than I had thought it would be. Especially the end, I though whatever the thing was, was going to follow them to wherever they went, but...wow.

When I watched it, through it I jumped a bit but it hardly scared me. When I went to bed that night however, oh man. We have a boiler which gurgles a lot. It was terrorfying,
wen i ask they say that they fall into the habit smhw ........but nyways i think there is a connection smwhere. Now i being a teetollar will not give into this habit nyhw

Totally didn't feel this movie. The only part that really got any response out of me whatsoever was the last 15 seconds. My interest level was pretty much flat-lined otherwise. I'm genuinely surprised at the mostly positive reviews it got.

edit: oh yeah, and both the dude and his chick were obnoxious as hell. My girlfriend was imitating her whiny-ass voice for days afterwards.

I thought it was very refreshing. Not the scariest movie of all time, but it doesn't make it a bad movie. I liked how non-existant that entity was throughout the whole movie.

I had high expectations for this movie...and it sucked shit.
I'm just glad I didn't pay to see it.
The people who say it's the scariest movie ever have do some research, rent some DVDs and find out just how pathetic Paranormal Activity is.
EDIT: my favourite creepy movies are the innocents, the shining, mist and the original omen series (the first time i watched this, Iwas 6, and it was SCARY).

It was scary shit, I saw it one of the first nights it came out, and I when I saw it I wasn't sure if it was real or not. I wanted to believe it was the whole way through, but the sane part of me knew it was fake

I liked it.
