Hey all, just a quick question.

Logitech Z-4: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/speakers_audio/home_pc_speakers/devices/250&cl=au,en

Logitech Z-2300: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/speakers_audio/home_pc_speakers/devices/231&cl=au,en

Does anyone know if the speaker set in the second link can play an iPod plugged into it? I know the set in the first link do as I've used them before, and was wondering if the Z-2300 could do the same.

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/speakers_audio/home_pc_speakers/&cl=au,en&view=34?A1=1&A2=2&A3=3&A4=4&A5=5&compProducts=250&A6=6&A7=7&compProducts=231&A8=8&A9=9&A10=10&A11=11&A12=12&A13=13

The above link compares the two speaker sets, and says the Z-2300 doesn't have Aux/MP3 Input. So basically, I am wanting to know if the Z-2300 will work both plugged into my computer with iTunes or other programs open, and also with just an iPod plugged directly into the speakers.

Thanks.

I don't see why it wouldn't. If it has a 1/8 jack to plug into the computer then the 1/8 jack would work for your iPod as well. Looks like a nice little system though.

I have those exact speakers just now, and I see no reason they wouldn't work, though you would have to unplug from the back of your PC and plug into your iPod, theres not an extra aux input. Brilliant speakers btw.

this

I have the Z-5500, and the jack fits into my mp3 player and phone. So most likely it will fit in an iPod.
