Hi UG'ers out there, im looking for a multitrack recorder (for guitar and mics) to purchase and want one that once recorded i can move the tracks around on the unit without having to plug it into my comp and use cubase or similar, i was looking at the zoom r16 (http://www.musicthingz.com/zoom-16track-portable-recorder-p-5878.html) but im only new to the recording scene. Was wondering if anyone could help me out here, while keeping in mind a reasonable budget (it sucks being a student).
Cheers, Trax

The SC team really know their stuff.
