I have some best buy gift cards from christmas, enough for a dano fish and chips. Im running into a blues junior which has no effects loop. I like my sound but im all for tweaking, and it has the boost feature which would be nice for solos.

Its probably this or a BLT Pedal since im getting rid of my dd-6

would it be something worth getting?

ive heard only good things about the fish n chips. the way i look at eq's pedal is this: does it add noise? no, well that's good. does it work like it should? if yes then its a good eq pedal

It should work fine in front of your amp, though in a effects loop would probably work better. You should defiantly get it though
