Not too sure about the price, but a lot of guys on here (myself included) prefer cabs with V30 speakers. Try and look at the marshall 1960AV or something?

I've got no experience with randall cabs man, sorry!

I have a marshall 1960a cab with my valveking head and it sounds good. I think thats a bargain price imo, though cabs with V30's are very nice.

The most popular cabs to pair up with 5150's tend to be 1960A's (G12T-75) and Mesas (V30). The G12T-75's have a scooped sound that you may or may not like.

Should it be just those specific cabs, or any cabs with those speakers?

I use g12t-75's and i prfer them to vintage 30's. They dont have that flubby bass and spikey mids the v30's had when playing with a band i encountered. It's all preference.

anyways... that 800 cab isn't a stereo cab like they 900 and up 1960a's and looks alil ruffed up. I would offer 250 max for that cab.

But yea provided that cab works well and you can live with the cosmetic condition go for it.

You cant split the half's of the cab indepently (2x12 / 2x12).

I have 2 heads and i run them on my cab each running 2x12's. as an example.
