What I want to have is an acoustic, a (cheap) guitar to stay in Drop C, and my high end guitar.

What I have now is my electrocoustic which is now in Drop C, and my high end guitar, my Schecter.

I can either:

a) replace my heavy gauge strings on my electrocoustic with standard ones, and buy a cheap electric and put heavy gauge srings on it for drop C or:

b) Buy a cheap acoustic.

I cant really put heavier gauge strings or change the tuning on my schecter as I use it every other day for jazz band, and it needs to be in standard.

I'm thinking just buy a used acoustic to haul around and stuff.
