im basically dead set on a fender jaguar for a bass, i love the feel of it, the controls, everything except the bridge pickup, i dont like the tone of a single coil in the bridge, the neck is fine though, im wondering if its possible to put a MM pup in the bridge of the fender jaguar, i know the wiring complicate dinside and this could affect what id like to do here, but i know they both have passive pickups with an active EQ, so i assume dits possible, with a bit of work

TL;DR i want to put a MM pup in a fender jag bass, can i? good idea or no?

You would need to route it out yourself. The wiring shouldn't be overly difficult if you can find a schematic for it.

It is possible to do this but could take alot of work, if you are confident in your own woodworks and electronics skills it will be easier,if not seek pro help. best of luck.
