Hey, I'm gonna buy a 6505+ 112 combo but I need a channel switch "pedal"! Will any do? For example this one http://www.thomann.de/fi/lead_foot_fs2.htm

Thanks

I think they should. I dunno, 'cause mine came with the amp and they're both Mesa brand, sooo...
But I think that it should work, I can't see why it wouldn't....I mean, why would a company go through the trouble to sell just footswitches if it didn't work with the amp? Thus, I say yes it should work

EDIT: I can't read Finnish, but from the looks of that pedal, it should definitely work

It should work I think, but I don't know if you need a latching or non-latching footswitch. Btw isn't there a footswitch supplied with the amp? I got one with my Peavey.

If you don't know if you need a latching or non-latching (momentary or not) you can get this http://www.thomann.de/nl/behringer_ab200_dual_ab_switch.htm
You can set that at either latching or non-latching. It would be wise to get that switch no matter what, as you could use it in the feature when you need something like a tap tempo switch or something.

almost always the channel switching pedal comes with the amp when you purchase it. unfortunately peavey have cheap footswitches but they still work fine, just not as good quality-wise as other company's footswitches.
