I hear a lot of praise about buying guitars in the Philippines. They're said to be made better and cheaper. Anyone know if that's a myth or what?

You Sir, have the best signature like ever!
I haven't heard of that. Sounds like a Myth!

In all actuality tough, its probably just specific people. I mean instrument makers are just like anyone else. Some people are more skilled at it and can make great stuff consistently and charge less for it than you would get from other american markets. Its like how over here you have a fur jacket that goes for hundreds but over someplace else you have a handmade fur coat and its much cheaper just because its not a huge thing for them. We are used to industry making and setting the price where there they might have more freedom to sell things and barter.
