Another lyric made by me! Tried to make everything rhyme, and still have a nice flow...

Verse

I'm falling rapidly in darkness,
is this real?
The mystic man in the wardrobe,
The elements that gives it life.
Darkness is my greatest fear,
Faked sounds coming from both left and right.
You're trying to catch me?You're just being a fool.
'Cause I've got a perfect shelter, and for me you're just a tool.

Chorus

Running around, is this the end?
Fire surrounds me, trapped in this hell(is this something, is this nothing?).
Locked up inside, in my own dream.
Sleep is my poison, I fall in eternity.

Verse

I tremble, I run and hide,
this all feel so real,
can't escape this hell,
If I even think about trying,
I'm gonna die,
He knows where I am,
Maybe he's just like you,
filled with greed and hate,
and the passion of telling the truth.

Pre-chorus

He says I'm trapped, I'll never get out,
No light inside, just darkness and doubt,
Making it all vanish, and i'm trapped in fear.
(Once again!)

chorus

Running around, is this the end?
Fire surrounds me, trapped in this hell(is this something, is this nothing?).
Locked up inside, in my own dream.
Sleep is my poison, I fall in eternity.

Bridge

I see the light, the ending is near,
I'm trapped inside, but I feel no fear,
I draw my last breathe, I'm about to dissapear,
Vanishing into nothing!

Chorus

Running around, is this the end?
Fire surrounds me, trapped in this hell(is this something, is this nothing?).
Locked up inside, in my own dream.
Sleep is my poison, I fall in eternity.

just a thought, maybe change

He says I'm trapped, I'll never get out,
No light inside, just darkness and pain,

to

He says I'm trapped, I'll never get out,
No light inside, just darkness and doubt,

it makes it rhyme, and it still follows the theme of the song

Allright, I'll change it I just wrote, I didn't have any kind of idea of what would come out from it...
#4
while your changing, you've got a typo where it says
this all feel(s) so real

right on though, how long did it take to write?

it's not that hard. When you are used to write, you can usually just have a title and everything falls into piece from that. Usually i focus on lyrics before melody.
#8
maybe i should do that, i try to make the lyrics and melody together so that the song is really exactly what i want and i don't have to settle for a poor lyric just because it matches with a melody I've already written and really like, you know?

I have a few songs that I've actually had a melody planned before. When I write lyrics first, everything becomes so much easier, because I get an idea of how to sing after I've written the lyrics.
