i was wondering what a good program is that you could use to make drums.
i have some songs that are acoustic/guitar but i dont really feel like making another because they kinda all sound the same after a while..

so i was thinking i could record the instruments/vocals and sync them to computerized beats? i play everything but drums....

1. is it realistic to try and make songs this way?
2. whats a program thats free that is still good/ what paid program is the best.

MIDI sequencer + drum sampling program. I recommend EZ Drummer for samples, and Your DAW should have a midi sequencer built in.

Maybe stop being cheap and buy a copy?

You can get EZD Lite off of the Toontrack website which is free. It's not very advanced but it works.

EDIT: Heres a link. Seems kinda useless though.

Acoustica Beatcraft. It's by far better than any other drum/beat sequencer I've ever used.

And cheap. And simple.

For what you're looking for, it's perfect.
has a terrible signature.

Cubase + Battery 3.x
Pretty big though, if u want all the drumsound it's like 12GB. If u don't have a premium account on some filehoster it's not worth it :p

I generally use reason 4.0 (Redrum) with the drum-refill. Sounds pretty good.

Guitar Pro can do drums, why not use that?
There's a special sex move I do called the Charizard.
It's where you light the girls pubes, then put it out with your cum and run around the room flapping your arms screaming, "You don't have enough badges to train me!"

Reaper is a good, free DAW to get started on.
It has a midi sequencer.

Also, EZDrummer +1.
It sounds great!

Yes. I personally use Sony Acid. As long as It's compatible with VSTi Plugins, it will work.

ezDrummer sucks, fo with something that lets you import your own samples, I prefer NI Battery.
