So I have a Jackson DK2 Dinky, and recently it has started making a lot of static when I plug it in to my FX-board, and even when I plug it directly to my amp. I know it's not my FX or amp because my Epiphone Les Paul 100 makes no static. The Dinky makes static even when I have the volume on the guitar turned down to zero. Anyone know what may be the problem? Please respond.
Does the static go away when you touch something metal on the guitar like the strings? Does it have a floyd rose?
The static doesn't go away when I touch it with something metal, and it does have a Floyd Rose Licensed Bridge
he meant if you touch metal, not touch WITH metal. check the cable, amp, etc. also check for loose connections inside the guitar.
