Hey guys, I was wondering if I have to cut the bottom ball end of the strings when I change strings if my guitar has a floyd rose. If so, how much am i supposed to cut out? Do I cut out all of the wounded part so that only the regular part of the string is being held by the Edge III?

just cut the balls off, leave the wound part on and put the wound end into the trem, then lock it

yup, unless you cut the thin bit off the other end and have the ball end on the headstock.
