So Pit, you seem like a good choice to go to. Yes I know you're not Yahoo Answers but I love you more.

I have this crappy bargain cellphone that isn't good for texting and it's really thick. I have about 200-275 dollars to spend at the most on a new cell phone. I want a full QWERTY keyboard. Preferably a slider but I'll settle for a flip or just one like a Blackberry, if it's thin enough.

Help me Pit.

I love my Propel. Not a Smartphone, so no Windows Mobile, but it's a slider with a QWERTYboard. I got it through my AT&T plan, though, so you might be SOL finding one.

slidey, qwerty, thin, great battery life, and 50 bucks. Pretty much like a blackberry. It's called a samsung propel.

I doubt he can find what he's looking for on a pay as you go plan

I do too, but he could do far worse than something comparable to Propel. I've offered it as something to compare against, basically.

Don't know if they've got it in the US, or if you could get it, but up here in canada Telus has the Samsung Slyde.

It's a full QWERTY slider, nothing special, and should be well within the price range.

You can use it to get out of the matrix in a squeeze.

Ebay is great for phones...

Seriously. You can get the same phone for like 25% cheaper.
