Of course, we all heard Stairway, Smoke in the Water, and Sweet Child

And there's riffs like My Curse - Killswitch Engage and Drive - Incubus where though they're not legendary, they're very popular nonetheless.

Now surely, some obscure band out there will craft something epic that thousands of us will miss. It's time to stop that now! Bring out your best riffs from obscure bands!

Popular - Nada Surf

You keep seeing songs like KoC, SMBH, and Hysteria showing up on games, but I want Micro Cuts on either Rock Band or Sing Star. I want to see numerous masses of kids staring at the tv wondering what the hell they're supposed to do.

The riff in Show Of Strength by Echo And The Bunnymen that comes right before the first verse is in my opinion one of the greatest riffs I've heard.

The studio version is a lot better though so if you got spotify or something.
sometimes I see us in a cymbal splash or in the sound of a car crash

Even if a band had sold over a million albums, that would mean only 1,000,000/6,700,000,000 had an album THUS have been proven to know said bands...

If only 0,00015 % of people are prove to definitely know them or their songs, I'd say chances aren't really small that there might be something worthwile in this thread for most people, since most people don't know every single band on the planet, with every single song, ESPECIALLY when you consider the fact that I haven't seen that much overly famous bands in here, just some that are relatively well known...
