i live in the midwest where our winters get pretty cold(highs of 1-2*). ive always kept my guitars in the garage. should i keep them in the house or will they be fine outside?
Probably house, guitars like the same conditions people do.
Keep them in the house. In Chicago, winter humidity and temperature can change wildly even within the same day.
inside. if you keep them outside in the garage it will throw the guitar out of tune, and that will be the least of problems to come.
Really need to ask this?
IN THE HOUSE! And dont store them in the basement, too much humidity...
I keep mine in the basement, but for some reason the temperature and humidity down there is just right. Go figure. If you're going to store them in the open get a little thermometer / hygrometer and make sure you're in the proper zone.
