So what are everybodys thoughts on these models?? they have a 24inch scale length which is quite shorter than what im used too but please pople if youve played one or if you own one even better.

Im interested in how it plays over the sound as im open to swapping out the pups

it`s actually 24.75" which is the same as a Les Paul (from your sig you should be used to it), i`ve only played 1 breifly and did like it.......think of it as a les paul in a strat-shaped body.

it`s good for blues, bluesy rock and heavy rock.....go play 1

only the 520 is available in the uk according to the ibanez site.

Hi! i own one of these guitars and it is brilliant, i wouldnt swap it for anything else i love it
and the ibanez site must be wrong because i have the 720 version and i bought it from PMT in Oxford.
so yeah i highly recommend it and they are quite cheap as guitars go, i got mine for 500 quid

If only they were a 24" scale with the same neck as an ORM. *sigh*

Also keep an eye out for used SZs, they're the model the SZR replaced, in 25" (not 25.5") scale.
