Hey i need some help
One technique i can't get is when there is a tab like this

I know what it is supposed to sound like but mine always comes out weird.

I'm guessing bending to twenty? If it sounds weird because you don't know where to stop bending, play the note on twenty and then bend the seventeen to that note. It helps alot. Sorry if that had nothing to do with your question.

You will just have to use your ear to figure out how far they bend. Try some interval ear training, it will help greatly.
EDIT: If you mean playing 2 strings at once, and bending one up, it's usually a unison bend and you should bend until they both sound the same.

Weird in what way? fret the 17th (E) with your index, and with your 2nd and 3rd finger bend the 20th on the g-string one half step to the same E.

Best way to get btter is to practice other songs that have that technique but not a 3rd fret gap try Muse, Uprising for example, every end verse a big bit in the solo.
