The only bad thing about the RSE is the fact that it sounds like a Spider III

Edit: That and the fact that you can't have it play with non-RSE instruments like piano, because there's a slight delay on the non-RSE instruments.

I love the RSE. And no, it doesn't sound like a Spider III. The default one, British Stack or whatever does, that's why you CHANGE IT.

i usually use the legend ones, they're better, specially the metallica ones

I changed it, and now it sounds like the Spider III on the metal channel.

Metal James - Rhythm certainly sounds like an at least normal quality amp, if not good.

I normally go Distorted Guitar - > Les Paul Electric - > Amp Tones - > Eddie Lead - Chorus

And I do change the low/mid/high EQ for the tracks. My rhythm guitar usually has the low and mid up like 3/5 to 1/3 of the way, and the lead usually has the high 3/4 to 4/5 of the way and the mid 3/5 to 1/3. Bass, crank up the low and mid. Drums, same thing.

I make it sound like sex, I swear.

And on the GP website they have some samples of what you can do with the RSE.

Also check out the RSE demos.

I really don't understand how some can think the midi is better. sure, the rse isn't perfect. but there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that it sounds loads better than the midi.
