So I recently acquired a Spector Legend Custom 5. This is fantastic, but unfortunately I'm getting some weird feedback from it. It has 3-band active EQ, and the feedback seems to be associated with the treble. I replaced the battery fairly recently. Any ways to minimize/alleviate this? The farther I was from my amp the lesser feedback there was, but it got a tad bit ridiculous. Help? Thanks!

It seems to me, in my unprofessional opinion, that the treble is changing the frequencies to interfere with your pick-ups... is it the same when the pickups are facing the amp as there is with your back to it? If it's just feedback/buzz and not the reverberating wave-noise that grows then perhaps you might need a compressor/suppressor pedal
