witch one would be the best for me? I already have a guitar with a edge 3 so I don't need a floyd rose, even if it's still fun. (I have an Ibanez S prestige)

or are the Jackson Randy Rhoads just bad guitars?

thank you

Personally for versitility, I'd get the RR5 in an instant. But all 3 are good, you can't go wrong really

Id eliminate the RR24 if I were you, I personally hate not having a neck pup and hate EMG's even more.

RR5 is the best, RR24 is too basic, and comes with a shitty pick up, and the RR3 is a bit less quality than the RR5, but don't get me wrong the RR3 is a great guitar, but in a choice of the two i'd go for the RR5

if you don't want a trem the rr5 is the only one you've mentioned that doesn't have one and i personally think it looks the best

budget: I don't want to go over 1000$, I spent enough on the Ibanez, as you might guess.

preference wise, this guitar would be for more metal stuff, I would use either 1 dropped tuning (if it has a floyd) or I would change tunings alot with the fixed bridge

I also want the harmonics to scream,

also would an ESP alexi laiho 200 be better?

i say for metal the rr24 is the best.

As someone who does alot of recording i can tell you, on record no matter what EMGs sound better for metal . . . aslong as you have a good amp.

the harmonics scream, trust me

oh and your right VanTheKraut I really love having the neck pick ups, love the sound they usually have

RR24 if you just want to play metal pretty much. RR3 amazing guitar for the money and RR5 if you want to go for versatility

Crickets have too much high end for my tastes. I prefer a nice beetle, lots of warm low end.

tl;dr put a beetle in your amp for superior toanz.
