The solder on my input jack was bad. Real bad. I was trying to tighten it today (I unscrewed the jack plate, had the inside of the jack held with pliers) and it literally fell out of the solder. Can I solder this back into place or am I screwed?

Yes, you can solder it back together and have it work, I replaced the pickups in my guitar and re-soldered everything. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself take it to a guitar shop and they should be able to do it for you.

I'll be fine doing it myself. I just wanted to double check. Thank you.

Well, think logically- If it was soldered on there in the first place, why should it be ruined forever and ever if the joint simply comes undone?
