hey this is proably the wrong froum but i cant get a good clean sound i think its my EQs on my amp do u know how i should set it to get a (this is gonna sound really gay) mr. jones (counting crows) type sound?

Well what's your amp at the moment? And your guitar?

Just put it on the bridge pickup, and boost the mids a bit, and leave everything else kinda neutral. The little boost in mids will get that sort of almost breaking up feel they get there.

put it on the neck pickup and scroll down the volume from the guitar itself

check which you prefer...the dirty might give it a slightly warmer tone

Nothing gay about the Counting Crows man. Great band.

I find boosting the presence on the clean channel helps with my Les Paul. Also note the Counting Crows had 2 guitarists, and on "Mr Jones" one had a LP, the other was playing a Fender and from memory I think it was a Jaguar, so the sound on that song is a blend of the two. Good luck.
