Okay guys!

I have been playing guitar for 4 years and since i got my electric 1 year ago, I have read everywhere to raise the pickups when they get knocked down a little. So I do. But the other day they screwed up (i think i might have screwed the wrong way :S) and the Pickup sorta "fell in" where they are meant to fit. And I can't raise them again. So it's all wobbly and I don't know how to fix it.

PLease help. And use easy to understand language because of my noobyness

Long story short....

if you unscrewed it too far, then the screw is no longer connected to the pickup mounting bracket. You likely neeed to remove the pickguard to fix this.... Another option is to somehow lift on the pickup and screw in the screw to see if it engages....just a thought, not sure how though
PRS SAS or Gibson LP Standard+
Teese WOF->Analogman Sunlion->Dr. Scientist Elements->Foxrox Aquavibe->Strymon Timeline->Eventide Space
Mesa RoadKing II and 2 Vox AC15s run in stereo

once you have your pups set you should not have to move them again, but since you did, you turned the adjustment screws the wrong way and you unscrewed it from the pups [pickup] So we just need to know what kind of guitar you have so we can let you know how to fix it

This. If there isn't a pickguard, unscrew the plastic ring holding the pickup. Also applies to Les Pauls and Les Paul copies.
