Can anyone tell me the difference between them all I know a double stop is just two notes played together. Knowing that I might sound stupid I'll ask anyways.. so a double stop is just basically a chord with two notes right? And is it still a double stop if you double up on any of the same notes?

A double stop is any two notes played at the same time, they don't have to be from a chord. I do suppose if you double the notes with an octave it's still called a double stop, I don't think it really matters though.
