i feel like my low end over powers all other notes when i play a chord on the lead channel.
for example if i play open A string and 12th fret D string it sound really muddy.
how can i get those clean chord sounds where u can hear distinct notes in the chords?
thanks

A good amp and not too much gain.
Fender American Special HSS Stratocaster
Ibanez 1987 Roadstar II Deluxe
Yamaha THR10X
Marshall JCM900 SL-X
Ibanez WD-7 Weeping Demon Wah
TC Electronic Polytune
Seymour Duncan Tweakfuzz

What are your EQ settings?
In this case it's a good idea to lower bass/gain, increase mids/treble.
I don't have any problem with chord definition on my 333, so I doubt the amp is the problem.

The cheapest way would be turn down the gain and the bass and turn up the mids and treble
also, try up picking some chords, so that the higher notes ring out before getting squished :p

Turn down your gain, avoid 3rds and maybe invest in a compressor.

Major and minor 3rds don't sound as good with distortion as with, say, 5ths or 7ths. IIRC, EHV avoided using 3rds for this reason.

as far as compressors go, Guyatone makes a nice cheap comressor.

He really doesn't need a compressor to patch over an issue that shouldn't need patching :\
The amp he has is a very articulate and defined amp. It's probably down to his EQ settings and maybe his cab/speaker or guitar.
