"Alone" - written by me. I'm singing and playing all the guitars, while the strings, bass, and drums were provided courtesy of MIDI, GarageBand, and a few tricks that I learned working as a sound technician.

Let me know what you guys think, and I'll throw some commentary your way, too!

well first of... wow really good production, miles better than the average production value in these forums. really well recorded, which goes really far in presenting ideas well.
overall, i would say very solid song, its got sorta of a pop but still quite dark feeling to it.

My biggest... well not complaints but more of a 'i would do it this way thing' (not that im sugesting im right just my opinions) are that i would turn down the strings and try turn up the guitars, to drive the song on a bit more and give it more of an edge. It has sort of a dark feeling already but maybe this way a dark, rockier feeling? Vocals were solid, as for lyrics i would say verging on the typical side, but solid and fitting the feeling i guess.

I dont have the production you do but if you get a sec i'd be interested on what you think of my ideas. https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1254672

Thanks for the compliments, dude. Would you believe me if I told you that the vocals and guitars were recorded with the internal microphone on my MacBook Pro? I literally just set my computer down in front of my amp for the guitars, and just sang into it for the vocals.

I'm sitting in the Palm Beach International airport right now, I'll take a look at your stuff tonight. Where do you want me to comment you back, haha?

Dude if you can get that sound out a laptop i'd love to hear it with a proper mic. Really dig the music side of things. Really like the chorus to, only thing I'd like is a bit more power behind the vocals during it, but that'd be pretty hard to do with a laptop mic. Very impressed man

Yeah, you're definitely very talented. This isn't really the kind of music I go for, but I can tell you orchestrated it really well. Good job man!

I really enjoyed it, especially those synths and your vocals! I left a more thorough comment on your profile. No complaints here, just really well done.
