Hello Guys,

Could you help me choose between two Ibanez models? I planning to buy one today but would like to hear your opinions first before doing so. The models I’m caught in between with are RGR321 and GRG270, currently I’m favoring GRG270 (china) because it’s cheap . I've been searching and reading some good recommendations from this model but my worries is that it’s made in China (not sure why UG reviews on this model is made in Indonesia). I’m more an acoustic player and know few about electric guitars, so I would really appreciate it if you could help me pick the right one.

Could you also recommend and amplifier that will go with the model? More of a simple room type amplifier only.

Thanks in advance

^RG321

Get some sort of modeling amp, roland cubes are pretty easy to use.

What kind of music do you play? Acoustic to Ibanez is quite the switch.

Hahaha, thats what I did, although it wasn't as much a switch as it was an addition.

Wow! Guys thanks for the prompt response I think i will go for RG321 then.

As for the type of music, more of like Red hot chilli peppers.

Ibanez is NOT the way to go for RHCP. You'll want to look at products from Fender, Squeir, or Epiphone.

Oh i see, ill have that as an option. But ill have to check it out first as it i believe Fender in our place is quite expensive.

$500 for the Guitar alone. Can you recommend a specific model?

Don't know how much these cost but MiM Strats?

I have several nice guitars like my parker nitefly but i wanted a cheap guitar to play metal with. The rg321 is really good for the price and it can handle many different styles. make sure to get the mahogany oil finish cause it is beautriful.

The RG321 is damn-near unbeatable for the money. A stock one is good to learn on and generally goof around with. A modded one is good for just about anything.
