Well I've beeen looking for a hollowbody and I've narrowed my search down to Thes two Ibanez guitars. Problem is I've read that the afs has tuning issues and was wondering if the as has the same problem and of course which one would you choose if you were in my shoes.

Yes an Ovation celebrity cc024. But im looking for a hollow-body. I heard that Artcores are the best choice when on a budget and these two really caught my eye.

They'll both have the same tuning issues if any. A lot of the time, people with poor tuning stability is the result of bad setups. This is true of Bigsbies but it's also probably true of the Ibanez trems. But the Ibanez trems are almost undoubtedly cheaper quality than Bigsbies so there probably will be some tuning instability. They're pretty much the same trems. The difference is the size. It really depends on whether you want a fully hollow or semi-hollow.

Yeah you can't really go wrong with either and they are quite similar. Are there any shops nearby that have any Artcores or just any semi hollow guitars?

I just found this review from a guy who recently got an AFS75T and he seems to like it.

If you can't try either out, have a look for similar models to see which shape you find easier to play. You never know, you might find a different guitar that you love in the process.

Normally, because of your amp, I would suggest getting a new amp before a guitar, but since you dont have a real electric and you can also play a semi hollow acoustically, go for it. Although, I think it would be a good idea to get an amp more suited to your tastes: maybe, on the cheap side of things, a Vox VT30?

Good luck finding your guitar.

what kind of tuning issues, the quick change 3 bridge on the AS is very similar to a TOM found on PRS and Gibson, so easier to set the intonation, i`m not a fan of the art1 bridge on the AF, it sits on a wooden strip and tends to wobble (causing tuning issues).

i think you should be able to get a epi shearaton in your budget and definatly a 335 dot and casino.

^If he was going the 335 route, IMO the AS73 would be better.
