Well guys.

Modular GCSE exams have started, and this years A Level exams start tomorrow.

I have a Maths C1 exam at 9:30am. I haven't got a clue what to do, everything I know has just gone out of the window. Can anybody else doing this course help me out?

Good luck for all your exams guys.

If you don't like C1, prepare do die come C2, 3 and 4.

I'm resitting M1 on friday and haven't even touched a past paper since June =/

I was okay with C1, up until a couple of weeks ago. Every tiny piece of knowledge has just vanished. My notes mean nothing to me any more. I just don't get anything

#4

I've got my English Lang & Lit exam tomorrow at 9.30.

Not fun.

Not fun.

#5

What the fuck is going on here? Back in my day exams weren't until about June. Have they changed it?

#6

Yeah I have C1 tomorrow. Been working my arse off on it for the last couple weeks, done all the past papers I can find + the solomon papers, getting about 90% average. So feeling pretty confident I won't **** up like last year.

#7

I've got GCSE Physics and Chemistry modules next week.

Oh dear.

Oh dear.

#8

A levels start now? What do you guys do until like september?

#9

No January exams for me this year

Good luck to those who do.

Also, try looking at someone elses notes. Sometimes works for me

I have that too, only advice is, work through a past paper, if there's stuff you don't know, go to the textbook (I'm doing MEI, and their textbook is amazing) Learn it, do the questions and move on, I'm cracking these papers with 1 question or so wrong each time.

Well we still do coursework and stuff, and in Biology and Chemistry i have another exam in June/July and other courses still do exams in the summer.

#14

Got my Tudor resit week on Monday, music resit a week on Wednesday and a Cold War resit on the 28th.

#15

I have MEI C1 tomorrow. I haven't revised all that much, but I scraped an A in the mock and I understand everything in the book, so.

#16

Got an A Level Business Studies module on Tuesday and I.C.T module on Thursday, I should get to work.

EDIT: typo

TS: I did C1 a couple of years ago. What's on the syllabus again?

I'm doing maths at uni so I'll be happy to help.

Most courses are split into 2 or 3 parts. It just means you have fewer exams in the summer and don't have to remember as much all at onceHmm seems like a strange system but best of luck to all

#21

I've got biology on Tuesday, psychology on Wednesday and chemistry on Thursday. Fairly confident.

Law AS on Thursday, been revising my arse off to make sure I'm not part of the 25% who inevitably fail. Oh, and a Maths AS two weeks later that I haven't started on, but that's maths so it shouldn't be a problem.

#32

Edexcel C1 Maths tomorrow morning and Physics on Wednesday. Maths should go well, Physics on the other hand...

#33

C1 at nine tomorrow. Physics on wednesday and psych next week.

Not too worried at the moment, I'll probably start freaking out tomorrow morning though.

3rd Year Electronic Engineering Exams....

tomorrow I have microprocessors (actually controllers) and instrumentation systems. tuesday business management (errr). Then following week ; Monday - Robotics and Image Processing (not as cool as it sounds). Tuesday - Automatic Control (feck load of maths, hard). Wednesday - Analogue IC Design (I have no idea what I'm gonna do on that).

So yeah, I'm sharting my pants.

I'm doing Philosophy but I don't have mine until the end of the year. Which part of the course is your exam on?
