Hi

Ive been playing guitar for 8 months and i have upto now been messing around with a crappy Ibanez Practice amp but now im looking for better sound quality with more options to tweak my sound...i have about £200 to spend on a good amp but i don't really know where to start

I have two Guitars a Gibson Les Paul Studio and a Fender Jaguar HH classic

Not everybody buys shitty guitars when they're starting, thankfully.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Feel free to express yours so I can make an informed judgement about how stupid you are.

That's a pretty big gamble to spend that kind of money without knowing whether you're going to stick with the instrument.

since you're just starting i suggest you get an amp that offers a variety of tones to see what styles and effects you're into. My choices would be
Peavey Vypyr:

Roland Cube:
http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/70527
or (I can't believe I'm gonna do this) a Line6 spider iv:

if you just want a good rock(foos, zepplin, acdc etc.) tone and not much else then this - http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/82929
read this thread aswell for more information on amps and things - https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=278232
Current Rig:

Eppy SG w/Swineheads, Marshall DSL 5c, Joyo Vintage OD, Joyo British Sound, Sounds Sounds Fuzz Face, GGG Guv'nor, Dr. Boogie Pedal, Crybaby in Red Sparkle, Digitech Hardwire Delay

The things I would do for a Les Paul...
