the mocklingbird pro with 24 frets looks pretty hot. but i hope they made the opening for reaching higher frets bigger cause it was a pain.

I always liked BC Rich since they first hit the guitar scene. I like a lot of the guitars for 2010. I own several BC Rich guitars and love them all.

The two archtop guitars are the only things that looked like a step in the right direction. The standard mockingbird model, and the X model both have some pretty obvious upper-access problems, if you look at the position of the cutaway you'll see what I mean.

But, yeah B.C. Rich still fails to peek my interest. They need to stop tooling around with those "Extreme" body designs, or at least tone it down a bit. They have what, like 2 normal original body styles?

Somewhere around £1,200 I would assume, judging by the spec.

3 years ago i liked BC RICH a lot. Jon Schaffer had been using them for 1-2 albums, and i loved the sound.

But now i can see that any BC RICH < 1000 Euros is nothing more than just extreme shape and no quality.

The Mockingbird Pro X costs just as much as a Mockingbird ST - 899$ ebay pre order

The only thing i like about the Mockingbird Pro X more than a Mockingbird ST is the switches positions much more like a les paul plus getting rid of the useless ones. I don't like golden stuff tho , i'd love to see it in red color and black hardware.

Edit:
The Mockingbird Pro X will be available in middle of march or something
I guess it would be 500 GBP as its priced the same as the Mockingbird ST.

yea, the Mockingbird is really cool. I also like the Son of Beast from some other year, it's my favorite by B.C. Rich.
Yea. Thats right. I called you a dumbass.
#26
I would eat one of you for that Pro x mockingbird.
You stole my heart!
You ran away!
Now I'm heartless!
So fuck you anyway!
#27
Yep as typical all of them besides the Mockingbird didn't do anything for me

If they made the mockingbird special X with 24 frets instead of 22 i'd actually consider it
#28
When I saw that thing entitled the Draco Ghost Flame, I actually laughed out loud. Though, I'm really diggin' that archtop Mockingbird.
#29
That Kerry King 7 string and the JRV purple 7 string are HOTT.

EDIT: That Draco is the ugliest thing I've ever seen.
I'd rather have a Devries Custom!

YES! Thier releasing the Pat O'Brien Signature V! I had talked to him about this and he said he wasnt sure if they were gonna do it or not. I cant wait to get that guitar!
#32
It's cool to see some respectable looking ASMs, Eagles and Mockingbirds in there. EMGs and real floyds are a nice step back towards BCR making something really targeted at their audience.

Nothing I'm going to run out and buy though.

The 7 string KK sig with the Kahler looks sick. I think Guitar World mentioned it in a Slayer interview but other than that I didn't know much about it.

Lovin' the new Mockingbirds and I would love to try out that new 10 string Bich. The Virgo Celtic would look sick if it weren't for the damn Widow headstock.

Gunslinger looks awesome. Just badass in neon green.
Schecter C-1 Classic Raven RG20 + Digitech RP50

Man, I could go for a 7 right now...
#34
BC Rich is taking a step in the right direction. They are focusing on the less crazy shapes.

However, nothing really interests me. EMG's suck IMO, and all the guitars with Rockfield's are of low quality.

Gun Slinger retro hell yeah. Diggin the 7 string Stealth and the Standard Ironbird too lol.

Kerry King tries to make the ugliest guitars possible, I swear.

Edit: Holy shit that Mockingbird is sweet. The black and gold one that is.

Liking the ZB sig ASM, but I was super-stoked about the doubleneck Bich, so I got one. I guess I'll have to wait and see if they release the Japan-only Warlock DLX in the burled walnut top...
#38
I LOVE the new Mockingbirds, and the V with the red trim is great, too. The new 7 string Stealth looks bad ass, too.
#39
I'd like to buy that 7string stealth, but without the tremolo. :<
