Ok, so im in a three piece blues-rock, hard rock, almost proggy band. We do lots of zeppelin, rush, the tragically hip ect.
Currently, our guitar player sings, and I do backup and some harmony. We can both sing, but neither of us are great. Weve agreed that we need a new singer, and we need a higher range one (plant, lee ect).
Ive asked one or two people at school, but no one is intersted, because they are into different music. The guitar player thinks we should get a guy to do it, preferably also someone who plays keyboard/guitar.
Im doing a jam thing over march break at a music store, with the intention of finding someone who is willing to do it.
any other ideas for finding a singer?

BTW I considered posters in music stores, but I want someone our age (high school), not someone to old

thanks for the help!

Can't you put an age range on your posters? In my experience, it's easy to find a singer, but extremely difficult to find a GOOD singer rather than
someone who just thinks it's karaoke
