Is there an easy, quick way to verify an Esp Serial number?

Thanks in advance

Thank you very much mate

EDIT:

This is weird, apparently the guitar im looking at was brought in japan in 2006, yet the serial suggests it was made in 2007

It's possible the guitar has a serial number from the year before it's catalog year. My old Gibson Melody maker had a serial number from 1958 but they were not in the 58 catalog but in the 59. I contacted Gibson and they assured me it was produced in 58 but was made for the 59 model year.

It's kind of like when you buy a 2010 car at the end of 2009. The car might have a production date of 2009 but it's actually a 2010.

Yeah I was thinking this too but I'm not too sure how many times ESP have actually done it. You could always make a post over at the bmusic boards and see what the users in the know would say about it.
