Hey all. I'm a bit new to ska however I find it to be one of the most insperational musical genres i have ever experienced. Along with guitar I also play trumpet which is an awesome combination for so some friends and i are starting a ska band. Does anyone know of any websites or places on the web to find sheet music for trumpet? Right now we want to cover some Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, and The Specials but it would be helpful if someone knew of a site to just search any kind of sheet music should such a site exist. Thanks

Oh and sorry if this is in the wrong place or is just a common question but if somebody could point me in the right direction it would be appreciated

I have two nice libraries on either side of my head. Check yours, they might have some ska songs

Not sheet music, but that'll get you in the right direction for sure.

Hahaha I was thinking the same thing, I guess the only way is transcribing it by ear. But that actually requires effort all worth it in the end I suppose

And thanks to the above poster, i'll check it out

Are you looking for concert pitch or transposed? I'm guessing you're playing a...Bb trumpet?

Work it out by ear. I've done a full tab version with sheet music of a few Streetlight songs, and it really is the best way.

Work it onto guitarpro and transpose up 2 semitones, if guitar is your first instrument. It's great aural practice.
